Donna (Brewer) Desjardin ,55, Pawtucket, passed away unexpectedly at her home Wednesday 1/26/2022. Donna was the loving wife of Dave Desjardin, together they celebrated 37 years of marriage. She is survived by her parents Rene Brewer and Virginia (Lefort) Brewer of North Attleboro.
Donna also leaves behind her children, grandchildren, her sister Gayle (Pawtucket) and many nieces and nephews whom she cherished.
Donna worked for the Pawtucket school department as a teachers assistant for 16 years. Donna’s heart of gold led her to help countless children in the city’s schools as well as in her own home where she and her husband fostered many children.
Donna will be lovingly remembered as hard working, fun loving and devoted to her family. She loved to entertain guests at her home and was known for her Sunday gatherings.
To know her was to love her and her loss is felt near and far by anyone lucky enough to have crossed paths with her.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 2nd at Keefe Funeral Home 5 Higginson Ave Lincoln RI from 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks donations be made in Donna’s name to the Curtis elementary school PTO.
